Hard to beat back in this grade. TAGANO POSTMAN (1) hasn't featured at his last two runs, the latest when tenth at Kyoto. Well-placed in this easier assignment and he is among the leading players. MASAMUNE (6) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was 14th over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. LOVE LIVE (5) last appeared six weeks ago over 2400m at Kyoto when she finished 13th. This is her first run for the Shinichi Ideue stable. Should be primed for this.
