GOING: S(6)

TAB Maiden Plate 1350m

Track: Soft 6   Clear (Max: 22)   Rail: +10m Entire. (Pent: 5.90)

Not a great deal of pace on paper so it may be left to one of the debutants to roll to the front. Former Victorian VILLANDRY (6) just ran into one better when having his first run for the new stable and will have come on with that hit-out now under the belt. Showed ability in his efforts down south and looks the one they all have to run down. BOROGORU (2) has had a few chances but has been thereabouts at the past four outings and will be rock-hard fit for this. Top-three candidate. SLUGWORTH (5) will be better for that first-up effort and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. In the mix. MUCHACHO (4) was well found on debut and where's there's smoke there's fire. Keep safe. GISELLE ABEEL (9) is facing the starter for the first time and any push in betting is worth noting. SUGGESTED PLAY: Villandry to break the maiden status.
