Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a keen tempo. BALLY ISLE (4) showed potential in two career starts and resumes in a winnable race. Gritty performance from the wide gate when a tough on pace fifth over 1000m at Gunnedah. Back without a trial and will prove hard to stop from the low draw. CLAN D'ORO (6) comes here in peak condition and will find this easier after failing to get through the heavy going when a tiring seventh over 1200m at Tamworth. Well drawn and maps to get the right run again. SHACKAMAXON (11) poorly drawn on resumption for the new stable when a plugging sixth over 1130m at Grafton. Finally has a decent barrier and capable of better. LAST LALIQUE (8) in leading Scone stable and can play a leading role on debut. BRUMMAGEN (1) the blinkers go back on for his return and after a long spell, the market will be your best guide. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bally Isle each way.
