Genuine tempo from Version leading He Is The Kiss.
DENUTO (4) ran a game second two back over this distance at Grafton before a last start failure when he pulled up lame on the Sunshine Coast poly. Complete forgive run last time - that Grafton effort should be good enough to get him over the line. VOLCANIC PARK (9) ran the best race of her four to date when beaten under three lengths over 1666m at Ipswich last time out. Coming back in trip doesn't look ideal but in a thin race she is a definite hope. VERSION (8) finished her race off well but just missed the placings in a blanket finish over 1200m at Toowoomba recently. Cherry ripe and looking for this trip now. HE IS THE KISS (2) ran a better race at Kilcoy last start when second-up. Hard to go overboard as he is twenty-three without a win but worth an each-way investment. LABARNA (3) is in the mix off a thirty-eight-day freshen up out of a favourable gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Denuto.
