Expecting Matete to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. DIAL OF DESTINY (6) has progressed nicely this prep. Wasn't far away first-up then led and tried hard but found one better last start over this distance at Wyong. Gets in 3kgs lighter under today's scale. Very fit and ready to win. BLACKWIND (2) led but just missed two back over today's trip at Newcastle. Less effective last time when switched back to 1100m. Can bounce back in this more suitable contest. EXTREMELY FRILLY (3) has been about the mark without threatening in her three runs this time in work. Has raced here five times and placed all but once. Freshened up and poses a genuine threat. BOLD AND BLAZEN (4) has struggled since missing by a whisker over 1300m at Hawkesbury three back. Can make amends.
