Plenty of pace established by Barolo, Cherry Lane and Kola Nut, with Royal City Girl close at hand. BAROLO (1) was touched off on debut over 1200m on this course. She took time to find her feet, but the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. She would have gained from the experience and will love the rise to 1400m. Craig Zackey steps into the saddle and she can go one better. LADY BLUNT (5) hails from the visiting Justin Snaith stable. Her last two starts after an encouraging debut effort have been disappointing. The daughter of Quasillo jumps from pole position and she can improve to finish in the placings. SILVAN MISTRESS (8) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing, finishing a long neck from the winner in third at the end of 1200m at this track. Looks hard to beat. ROYAL CITY GIRL (6) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing fourth f 11 over 1200m at this track. Improver worth including in exotic bets.
