Expecting a moderate tempot with a lack of speed horses engaged. DAMIEN (8) was provincial placed on debut and has been tuned up for a return with two solid trials. With a low draw and a light weight comes right into contention. ZANJEER (7) debuts as a three-year-old off two fair trials. With a soft draw in a small field can measure up. BABYFACED ASSASSIN (2) has solid race experience on his side and backs up quickly from his latest run. Slightly back in trip can easily post a better number now. ADEEL IT’S A STEAL (1) is bred for longer trips but two recent trials have been ultra-competitive. Can’t be ruled out. PASSALACQUA (4) finds a much kinder draw than his first-up run and the added trip suits. Should be running on late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Damien win.
