Overimpatient to find the front in the small field. DETERMINATION (1) is a former Waller-trained galloper who would win comfortably at best. He needed the first-up outing at Rockhampton, and Wiggins replaces the 3kg apprentice in a key jockey switch. Fitter and quick improvement is likely. OVERIMPATIENT (3) is a former Victorian who led and went close at Rockhampton first up. He folded up there last time, but will be better for it. Draws low, and a much better effort is likely. GLAD RAG DOLL (6) resumed at Townsville in solid order and has more to give. Maps well and carries just 51.5kgs with the 3kg claim. POLLY HOFFA (9) led and went close here two back, and that would have her in the finish. The betting will be key with the two debutants.
