Solid tempo anticipated with Nishino Claudia taking charge. A SHIN HEMERA (2) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second last time when she was in the firing line all the way over 1500m at this track. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to figure in the finish. PHERKAD (6) did little and finished 12 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1400m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. NISHINO CLAUDIA (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when tenth, beaten 14 lengths, over 1400m at Kawasaki after she was in contention on the turn. Has further improvement to come and is among the main hopes. AIR SHALLOW (5) finished midfield when resuming from a break last start over 1400m at Kawasaki, beaten 15 lengths. Should do much better.
