Moderate tempo expected with Buvons likely to find the front over Charm For Luck and Seiun Mireia. LOURDES (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at this track, beaten 7 lengths into fourth. Best figures give him a strong hope. SUN BOULDER (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 2000m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. CHARM FOR LUCK (10) was in the firing line on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1800m at Ohi after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is up to the challenge. PARMENIDES (6) finished 10 lengths from the winner in ninth at his most recent outing over 1500m at this track after he was well back on straightening. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around.
