Looks to be plenty of pace with Copano Miami and Tagano William battling for the lead. ANTHRACITE (7) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1400m at this track when returning from a spell. Distance specialist with 12 wins and 10 minor placings from 28 runs and will play a prominent role. DAIJOBANAI (9) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Scored over 1400m at this track to launch the last campaign. One of the genuine hopes in the race. TAGANO WILLIAM (2) returned from a spell three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth over 1400m at Himeji. Meets a stronger field but he is fitter and capable of running a bold race. OSUMI MIRAI (1) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 1400m at Himeji. Nicely placed to find some form.
