Has a formidable combination with Norifumi Mikamoto who has been aboard for his last four wins and should be in the finish. LONELY PLANET (9) caught the eye last start over 1600m at this track, coming from well back to finish 0.6 lengths from the winner in third. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring two times and placing on four occasions from nine starts. Among the leading chances. YAPUSHI (8) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.5 lengths at this course and distance when first-up from a break last start. Likely to be there at the finish again. AILE PLAISIR (7) turned in a strong run last time when he settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only a nose into second over 1600m at this track. Could be tough to stop again.
