Expecting Icon Of Style to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. SHAMADAN (3) returned in good style last start in a BM70 over this distance at Doomben, closing strongly to be beaten just 1.5 lengths. Finished third at Randwick on a heavy track this time last year. Fitter for that first-up run so despite the 61kgs she is the testing material. ICON OF STYLE (10) showed pace and refused to lie down when resuming on a boggy track at Ballina recently, beaten under a length in the end over 1300m. Not a noted fresh performer so that was an encouraging effort. Major player. COSMIC FORTUNE (8) backs up six days after a narrow win in a BM50 at Casino. Good wet tracker who cannot be ruled out. PICUPSTIXX (9) steps up in trip after a decent second here on 13 April. Unproven in this going which is the knock.
