A solid tempo anticipated with Baji O and Ritual engaging in an early battle ahead of Meisho Funjin and Gluhwurm. Grade 3 placegetter COURS MIRABEAU (14) is back after a break of ten weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Rates highly and should take some beating. GLUHWURM (8) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 2.5 lengths over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt as favourite. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from five starts. Can measure up again. DANON LUSTER (1) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on October 22 when second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Form at this track is solid. Capable of a big run. TENKAHARU (6) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1800m at Funabashi. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
