Fast pace assured with Higher Love, Shiny Silva and Wing Walker leading the charge. WING WALKER (9) moved up like a winner over this distance at Scottsville last time, before getting caught late. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. With a bit of luck from the widest draw he should prove hard to beat. HIGHER LOVE (1) produced a good comeback run when third over this course and distance last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. From pole position, he is one of the leading chances. INTRO (2) is having her first run for the Kumaran Naidoo stable. She gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand. Gavin Lerena rides if suited to the surface, she should give the males a decent run for their money. SOVEREIGN COMMAND (5) finished fourth of nine last start over 1200m at this track. Finds the right race and is worth including in exotic bets.
