Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. ASHIKULE (2) ran a good race on debut over 1000m on this course last start. He took time to find his feet but the manner in which he stayed on at the business end was encouraging. It must be noted that the winer of that race has come out and won again since. He is having his first run for Vaughan Marshall and with the natural improvement that is expected can go one better. CALL OF THE KAROO (8) is better than her last start run over this course and distance as she was reported to have excuses. Her debut effort when second over 800m on this course was encouraging. She would have strengthened up during her time off the track and if fit, she should give the males a run for their money. ALL THE RAGE (7) is an unraced son of Rafeef from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chance. SIRIANO (3) is on debut and has a profile to play a role in the finish.
