RUBY HANDICAP 1200m Track: GOOD
Dragon Joy has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. BEAUTY MISSILE (1) has been competitive in stronger races of late, but this does appear a targeted attack by connections. He drops into C4 today and the booking of Zac Purton says they mean business. Has placed 2/4 at this track and trip and his recent form is good enough to be winning this. DEAL COMPLETED (6) makes his debut today on the back of a nice trial on the All Weather recently. Harry Bentley remains with the gelding after riding him at the trials. This doesn't appear an overly strong C4 event and the upside that this fellow brings creates plenty of interest. MY WISH (10) was just fair on debut over 1000m, but he raced as though this extra journey would suit. He can settle a touch closer from a better gate this time and with improvement likely, he can make his presence felt. JUDY'S GREAT (2) has upside and should be ready to go fresh with two trials coming into this. Won't be far away.
