Paddy Payne-trained PEARL RAIN (10) has been good on the flat in Bm70s (in town at her latest 29 days ago) and has gone well in two jump trials since. Has his first race over the obstacles and it can be a winning one. IRISH BUTTERFLY (4) found one lengths too good at Hamilton over this distance but finished clear of the others and pulled up with an issue. He's back after 29 days and trusting all is in order. Runs along and will take pegging back. WILEWINK (9) has threatened twice over the sticks since the 64 win on the flat. Will run it right out and is a chance to go one better. CRUX (2) peaks off three flat runs and trialled solidly over jumps before the latest. Has to be considered. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pearl Rain appeals most.
