Expecting Causation to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. CAUSATION (3) has switched stables since returning from a 13-month spell with a respectable fourth over 1000m at Cranbourne where she led until the dying stages. Gets in beautifully after the claim. Sure to prove tough to catch in a race made a lot easier with some key scratchings. FIREFINCH (12) is third-up after a long break. Failed last time but worth another chance with a couple of gear changes and a cosy run likely just off the pace. HE'S ALL STYLE (1) returns from a 23-week spell. Will be better for the run but might be a surprise packet with blinkers on for the first time. JUST JOAN (6) was beaten a long way at Dubbo last start after some sound lead-up form. Draws a good gate for a change so should give a good account. FLIGHT OR FIGHT (5) has been kept fresh since resuming with a second over 900m at Brewarrina 37 days ago. Up in grade but capable of a top-three finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Causation should be far too good.
