Maruyo Kureha to take up the running with Burgundy and Kitano Martis close at hand. KITANO MARTIS (2) started at $4.30 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth here over 1400m. Drawn well and is a top chance here. MARUYO KUREHA (5) is still a maiden but did run a better race last time out, finishing third over 1400m at this track. Rates highly on best form and is among the better hopes. ROSE ACUARIO (4) finished fifth last start over 1400m at this track when she had to contend with an awkward barrier. Better placed here and is right in the mix. GRAND JANU (3) bounced back to form with a second place run at this track after a less than encouraging ninth at this track two back. Further improvement can see him in the finish.
