Anticipate Crown And Anchor, Our Sassy Lady and Romans Luck to set a strong tempo. UNITED LEGEND (8) circled the field and came away with a strong win last time at the provincials. Drops in weight and will be tough late. Can measure up again. ROMANS LUCK (1) resumed for the new yard and gave a huge sight fresh, leading until late on the main track here. Fitter and aided by the claim will be in this for a long way. JOVIALE (6) got home hard and beat all but Wine Barron last time. Place only try this slightly longer trip and will keep coming. EIGHT ON THE DOT (10) wasn't far away last time at odds and drops further in the weights with the claims. Might be overs. OUR SASSY LADY (9) also in the mix. Expecting Torpedoes to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. Wide open with lots of these close to a maiden win. WINE SNOB (8) has placed both runs this time in and gets a chance. Races close so drawn to stalk the leaders and should be ready for the longer journey now. TORPEDOES (6) wasn't far away here fresh and will strip much fitter. Low draw and will be winding up late. JUXTAPOSE (10) was outclassed in a Benchmark 64 at this course last start. Prior to that however had finished second in maidens at Oakbank and Morphettville. Much better suited for now back in maiden company. VAI TOA (7) is of interest on debut. Has placed in each of his three trial outings to date. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Wine Snob. |

Plenty of pace with Doctor Robert and Sparkup up front, pressured by I'm Kenny and Texan Windstorm. Hard to miss the run of GRINZINGER HALO (11) last time. Drew off the track and went right back to the tail but powered home into fourth in a richer contest on the main track. This suits and gets chance to break through. BRAVE STAR (3) is building to a win, the latest placing at the provincials when kept coming. Drawn for a soft run and will explode late. PHINEAS (6) has been thereabouts without winning but has been racing in tougher company. Wide gate but should be motoring home late. SWYCHO (10) placed last start at Naracoorte. Fitter again third up and looks the pick of the genuine each way hopes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Grinzinger Halo. |

Good pace headed by Justa Star, Liselle's Luck and Mrs Secombe, with Wind Rush and Orlova close by. SPARKLING LUCK (2) comes through a string of strong runs over the border, the latest midfield at Pakenham in richer company. Best figures measure up and with the blinkers added gets his chance. WIND RUSH (3) was fair fresh then just missed second-up. Looks well placed here and should be at top. ORLOVA (10) resumes but looks suited by the longer journey fresh. Placed 3/3 this trip and should be primed to run well. LISELLE'S LUCK (11) is overdue for a win and down on the minimum can give a sight at odds. MRS SECOMBE (8) drops back in trip after fading badly over 1500m at Gawler last start. Placed in her prior two outings at this course. Respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Sparkling Luck. |

Solid tempo with Snallygaster leading from Cork Harbour and Taking Omaha. SNALLYGASTER (7) is a promising type who is going well this campaign leading off wide draws. Much better gate this time for first try at this trip and will take catching. ATTAIN (4) was runner-up at Pakenham two back then made late ground off a wide gate last time. Better draw and best figures stack up. MURPH (2) was safely held in higher grade fresh then made late ground last time. Is a third-up winner and gets a chance to find his best. ROUND TWO (12) could manage only fifth here last time over the sharper trip. Goes well over this course and distance and expected to improve sharply. DELIGHTFUL SHECKY (1) is also a third-up winner and will find this much easier. SUGGESTED PLAY: Snallygaster will take catching. |

Kalmana, More Than Hope and Sir Castleton to take up the running at a decent tempo. Excellent race including eight last start winners but going with the stronger form of KALMANA (3). Not far away in the Nitschke Stakes two back then only two lengths away at Caulfield latest. Has the claim and this is easier. Can box seat from the rails and expected to go close. GOLDEN GURU (6) is a progressive type who was a winner of his maiden two back then runner-up last time at the provincials. Drops in weight and trip suits with Holder aboard. Hard to hold out. SIR CASTLETON (8) put the writing on the wall two back then scored a dominant win stepping to 1500m latest. Progressive type who can measure up again. MAKE ME A STAR (10) comes here off a last start win at Murray Bridge where she settled back and was strong through the line. Warrants respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kalmana can find winning form. |

Plenty of pace from Wild Beau, The Stalker and Super Alana matching motors ahead of Mintulee. DEEPFLOAT DIVA (6) looks a big improver here. Resumed after a long break over the border and wasn't disgraced. Will strip much fitter and has a strong record this course and distance. Expected to go close. SUPER ALANA (5) was a winner two back then led and faded in open class before another break. Trialling well and loves the course and distance. Will give a sight fresh. SIR NOW (1) is the class sprinter of the race and will be tested by the big weight and wide gate. Has won fresh though and top record course and distance with four wins and two minors from six tries. Resuming in easier grade and will be winding up late. ENUFF SEDUCTION (3) tackled the Group 3 Hawkes Stakes last time and was beaten just over a length. This is easier and have to include with a repeat of that figure. OUT OF SQUARE (8) is a recent trial winner and has a strong record fresh. Don't underestimate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Deepfloat Diva looks an improver. |

Genuine tempo with Hot Strut leading the way. REGAL SECRET (2) led throughout to score two back then went forward from a wide draw last time and was swamped late. Has a poor gate again but best form stacks up and looks a big chance to atone. SICILIAN PRINCESS (10) was a maiden winner two back then tackled stakes class latest and wasn't far away. Back in grade and well worth another chance despite the wide gate. INVERTATIONAL (6) turned in a big run from the back off a wide gate last time and will be tough to stop. EMPIRE GRACE (11) is fitter for two trials and can run a bold race fresh. Race has good depth to it. EXTRA HOT (12) and GLOBAL TURN (4) each way hopes in a race possessing great depth. SUGGESTED PLAY: Regal Secret for the win. |
