Maiden Race 1200m
Even race. PEISHA ARTHUR (1) has been in the money three times including last start when a very close third over 1200m at Niigata. Distance specialist who looks a top chance to break through. SAISON DE FEUILLES (9) is a four-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing off well to get up for a close fourth at Niigata over 1400m last time out. Ideally placed to shed the maiden tag. ASCENDIA (15) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 1200m at Niigata when resuming from a spell, beaten 2.5 lengths. Likely improver with bright prospects. AMBITIOUS YOSHINO (12) is close to a win following two recent minor placings, the latest when second over 1200m at Niigata. Will drift back but wind up late. Solid claims. |

Maiden Race 1700m
Looks a race in two. DERMA APOLLONIA (12) is back after a break of nine weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Consistent filly who is one of the genuine hopes in the race. ALETHIA (11) is close to breaking through after finishing third last start over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt when she was always up in the leading division. Sure to play a big role again. CHERIR FAMILLE (4) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing sixth at Kyoto Dirt over 1200m, beaten 6 lengths. Likely improver who comes into calculations. RYUZETSURAN (5) finished 6 lengths from the winner in fourth at her most recent appearance over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Finds a suitable assignment this time and can improve. |

ICHITO ZERONO AIDA (11) resumes from a spell of ten weeks. Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Chukyo Dirt over 1200m. Has ability and can get off the mark. LAPILLUS IMERU (7) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth after being prominent at the bend at her latest appearance over 1200m at Fukushima. Likely to be in the finish in this modest contest. COCCOLARE (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Kyoto, beaten 5 lengths into eighth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. GOD TESORO (5) resumes from a spell of four months. Best run of the maiden campaign was a strong third on debut over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt. Solid top-three hope. |

Maiden Race 1800m
SERIO VELOCE (13) looked good at his only appearance eight months ago over 1800m at Kyoto, finishing second and beaten half a length. Sure to have improved over the break and should be in the finish again. SAKURA ADRIA (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Fukushima, beaten 2 lengths. Fitter and draws a far better gate so expect a better run this time. WIN VERANO (11) started at $3.60 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Kyoto over 1600m after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to turn things around. KINTRA DANCER (15) has been kept fresh for this after she was strongly fancied last time but beaten 6 lengths into eighth over 1400m at Niigata. Should race handy and must be respected. |

Watch for a positive market lead. MOONLIT ISLE (4) is a two-year-old filly facing the starter for the first time. From an elite family that includes Gr 2 winner Mondreise, being by Mikki Isle from Moonglow. Promising type who should be monitored for market support. |

One of the leading chances. CHEVAL NOIR (3) is yet to break through in six runs but has been thereabouts. Placed two back then was 2.75 lengths away in fourth over 1800m at Niigata Dirt last time. Allowance Race 1200m
LA PEINTURE (8) last appeared when fifth over 1400m in the G3 Falcon Stakes at Chukyo 12 weeks ago when she made up a stack of ground in the straight. Should be hard to stop coming back to this grade. HIRABOKU CARRERA (12) gets a change of rider and has been freshened up since finishing fifth over 1200m at Nakayama last start. Forgive that latest effort. In the mix. SWEET REWARD (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at Kyoto, beaten 2.75 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HOLLYWOOD MEMORY (14) last raced when successful by a neck over 1200m at Fukushima nine weeks ago. One to consider. |

Allowance Race 1000m
TAKKA G T (5) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 4.5 lengths away in fifth over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt on March 30. Reunites with Takeshi Yokoyama which is a proven winning combination. Well placed and should be in the finish. BULLDOG KING (11) is back at the races for the first time since March 2. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1000m at Kokura Dirt. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. ECORO LEONA (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 12 lengths when 13th over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt eight weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Back from an eight-week let-up and is good enough to take this out. MIKKI SPINACH (8) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but was below par last time when out of the placings at Fukushima Dirt over 1150m. Yet to miss the placings in three starts over this course and distance. In the mix. |

A SHIN GEMMA (10) resumed four weeks ago over 1800m at Kyoto and was only beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with top-three prospects. |

LILA BONITO (12) comes here off a break of three months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1800m at Kyoto. Should be hard to stop. TELEOS SARAH (11) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.5 lengths when fifth over 2000m at Nakayama eight weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. ARATAMA FEVRE (15) showed good early pace over 1800m at Fukushima when resuming last time and kept going to score by 1.75 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. TOA RAIDEN (8) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 2000m at Nakayama, beaten a nose. Has a high cruising speed. Don't underestimate. |

Allowance Race 1700m
PLUM DANDY (13) finished second as favourite last time out over 1800m at Niigata Dirt, making it three minor placings from three starts this time in work. Has a wide gate but he should be involved in the finish. THUNDER ROAD (11) returns after a spell of 12 weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Hasn't drawn the best but has the gate speed to go forward and he should run a bold race. GORDALE SCAR (6) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt ten weeks ago. Capable of testing this lineup. RAISE TWILIGHT (10) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. |
