WAIKATO/BOP OWNERS ASSOCIATION HURDLE 2800m
The race pace in this Maiden Hurdle looks to be indifferent as some of the leaping looks a tad reckless at times. HAYATE (11) tackles the jumps for the first time. Won a Hurdle trial late last month and looked a winner in waiting. Can score here. SIR MAVERICK (2) last start second beaten a nose in a Maiden Hurdle (2800m) at this track. He is a young jumper and can go one better here. BRIAN LAMONT (3) is having his Hurdle debut here. This is his second run for a new yard. Trifecta and first four chance. DOCTOR IRIS (5) fell at last start in Hurdle debut. He had won two Hurdle trials last month. Can form reverse here. MR FAHRENHEIT (1) is a definite winning chance in this field. Eight runs as a Hurdler for four placings and four fourths. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hayate can win her Hurdle debut. Sir Maverick is a young jumper with upside galore. |

FAIRVIEW MOTORS WAIKATO HURDLE 3200m
The race pace here looks not too bad at all in this Prestige Open Hurdle over 3200m for large portions of it too. VERRY FLASH (5) has been racing well. Saluted two starts back in an Open Hurdle (3000m) at Wanganui then wasn't disgraced last time, beaten just one length into second in an Open Hurdle (2500m) at Trentham. Big chance here. LORD SPENCER (2) has been disappointing of late but has a good record as a Hurdler overall. Course proven. Include everywhere. TAIKA (1) was a good winner at last start. Has won three times on the track. Each-way. DICTATION (6) is a trifecta and first four must. Has had seven runs as a Hurdler for three wins, three placings and a lost rider. Trifecta and first four must. MONT VENTOUX (3) he has won third up before. Can pay a dividend or be first four in this field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Verry Flash looks the logical winner. Lord Spencer is the biggest danger at his best. |

BAYLEYS COUNTRY SPRINT 1200m
Expecting a strong pace from the outset with plenty of speed engaged. TWAIN (3) won well fresh up and has many more wins to come. He has won when second up as well. Drops a total of 2kg here. Can win once again. SHOES (6) has a very good course record. She has won on both dry and wet footing. Gets a winning 3kg claimer atop here. ILLICIT DREAMS (5) is drawn well here. The mare ran okay here two starts ago and is a place and first four chance. MERCURIAL (1) fresh up here and has won in this state. Dual trial winner so he is very ready to resume. Multiple class dropper in this. Course winner. GOSPODIN (2) ran a sound fourth fresh up. Is a triple course winner. Drawn better this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Twain can win again. Mercurial after a 4kg claim can take this out fresh up. |

ANDREW (LEDGE) LEADBEATER MEMORIAL 1400m
Good tempo expected with Madame Kiwi, Stewart and Super Rosa rolling forward. ASCENSION (8) ran a good race fresh up for third. She can definitely run one or two better in this line up. TIMETOPLAYTHEGAME (1) is yet to go a bad race this time in so far. Wide gate but is an on-pacer. Quinella and trifecta must here for sure. ROB'S MISTAKE (11) the filly has run well in four of her six starts. She is drawn well here. Trifecta and first four chance in this particular field. SHINING PEARL (12) wide draw in this but has run well in two of her three stars. First time left-handed in either raceday or at the trials. Should be okay. HAUGHTY (7) has been four times placed. Wide draw but is not out of this at all. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ascension is the one to beat here. |

KEN & ROGER BROWNE MEMORIAL 3900m
The race pace here looks a bit sketchy much like some of the leaping will be here in this Maiden Steeplechase over 3900m. COUNTRYMAN (4) has run two good placings this time in and one of them came right here. Looks the winner in this Maiden Steeplechase over the 3900m. CATCH AND RELEASE (1) lost the rider at last start. Won a Maiden Hurdle in prior start here by a nostril. Top tier must in this particular line up. ZEEFA ZED (2) lost the rider at last start. He has been twice placed here. Definite chance in this field to pay a dividend or be first four at least. MUSE (6) she has been course placed. Her lone Steeplechase placing was very distant. Not the absolute worst here for bettors. FABULOUS NANCY (7) is a definite improver on a distant fourth fresh up. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Countryman is the expected winner. |

SIGNATURE HOMES WAIKATO STEEPLECHASE 3900m
The race pace looks to be nothing too testing in this Prestige Open Steeplechase over 3900m but some big moves will come in the last 600m. THE COSSACK (1) is a superstar jumper. He has a colossal weight here but can cope. Has won six races on the track. He looks the winner here. NEDWIN (6) has won four times here. Twice a winner when third up. He is a stablemate of the top pick. LEITRIM LAD (7) was his first show of form at last start. Is a triple course winner. Quinella and trifecta chance in a field such as this. RENEGADE FIGHTER (3) ran second at his last start behind the second pick. He can place or be first four in this field. JAKAMA KRYSTAL (2) has won when third up before. Four runs as a Steeplechaser for two wins and a placing. Cannot be omitted in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Cossack looks the winner here big weight and all. |

MIKE STENT DECORATORS STAYERS 2400m
Procella and Flamenco to roll forward and dictate the tempo. CAST OF DIAMONDS (6) this is his first try at 2400m but will cope. He drops 1.5kg and is up in class in this. Win chance. PROCELLA (1) she has won on dry and wet ground. Course-proven runner. Top tier must in this line-up for sure. PRISCA (3) has been course placed before. She is a class riser here. This is her first try at 2400m but she will cope without question. RENEGADE REBEL (4) he is an improver here third up. Has won in this state before. Definite chance in this as his best is well up to beating this type of field. IRRIGATE (2) has won at 2400m and is a course winner as well. Trifecta and first four must. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cast Of Diamonds and Procella are the two main form chances. Renegade Rebel is the one that can deliver third up. |

BUPA FOXBRIDGE RETIREMENT VILLAGE 1300m
Strong tempo assured with Super Dailo, El Jaycee and Lotus rolling to the front. MESA VERDE (13) ran a super race fresh up for a close third. Logical improver in this even from an awkward draw. Win chance. GIRLS LIGHT UP (12) ran a solid race fresh up for fourth. Twice placed when second up. Multiples must in this field. ZIGGY STARDUST (8) has drawn the carpark but the filly is course proven and very much in form. She can handle dry and wet ground. Impossible to omit anywhere. JACK CRABB (1) has run well in all of his runs so far this time in. Drawn wide here but has been course placed. Include him everywhere you can. RIDGEVIEW VICKY (14) has come back well this time in. Drawn out again. Not out of this at all. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mesa Verde is the one to beat here. |

SKYCITY HAMILTON MILE 1600m
Good pace with Saint Bathans, Mister Roquette and Harlech prominent. UDERZO (2) deadset bolted in at last start here and only up 2kg in this so thrown in. Led up last time so has more strings to his racing style nowadays. Looks a moral here. SAINT BATHANS (4) close up at last start when resuming. Proven second up. Must for your quinella and trifecta combinations. KNIGHTS REALM (5) he has been racing super in last four starts. Course proven. Looks very well suited here down to 54kg. CHANNEL SURFER (7) gets a winning rider atop here. Has won on the track and include him in all of your multiples. HARLECH (1) has run super for a while now. He has drawn well and is a course winner. A 4kg claim helps him no end. SUGGESTED PLAY: Uderzo looks to be a weight special here. |

RDA CHARITY RACEDAY @ CAMBRIDGE WEDNESDAY 1400m
Expecting a strong tempo with Bak Da Angel and Malborough Bay prominent. AGERA (5) was a game second fresh up. Has had three runs second up for two wins and placing in this state. Course proven. Big chance in this lineup. JURISPRUDENCE (11) has impressed since he resumed for a new yard. Class riser here but can cope for sure. First race left-handed. Can win again no worries. SENSE OF TIMING (4) absolutely bolted in at last start in this grade. He is up 2kg here but gets an in-form rider atop. Obvious include everywhere you can. MALBOROUGH BAY (1) drops multiple classes here. He is a course winner. Trifecta and first four chance. JOSHUA BROWN (6) can handle most types of footing. Has a super course record. Include him in all of your combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Agera is the one to beat. Lot of respect for Jurisprudence. |
