NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:32 STREETER & MALE MITRE 10 HANDICAP 1600m
Moderate tempo headed by Cheddar Bob. Tricky little opener to kick things off in the north west. CANDLELIGHT SHERIF (1) has moved up here since he was last sighted, and finds a very winnable race to kick things off in. Looks well in the mix. KINGS SICARIO (3) should hit the ground running fresh up, as he has done in the past. First try up here but rates as a big hope on his best ratings. CAMPFIRE JACK (2) lands in an easier race today, and has claims if ridden a bit more closely than his last few. SCHUHBECK (6) and CHEDDAR BOB (4) are next best, but would only be favouring either of those for the place based on what we've seen lately.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Expecting Candlelight Sherif to kick things off with a bang for his new stable.
2 02:12 KIMBERLEY WASHROOM SERVICES MAIDEN 1300m
Solid tempo anticipated with What Shout taking charge. Hard to get enthused by too many of these. RULESQUE (3) put in a reasonable shift resuming and will take plenty of improvement from the run. Well and truly in the mix today. GRANITE ROCK (5) should be ready to strike third-up after two handy efforts this preparation. SO FAB (9) wasn't too far away at Port Hedland resuming and looks to get a terrific opportunity today. FAST JOHN (1) comes through similar races to a lot of today's opposition, and should be able to put in another strong performance. CABLE GIRL (10) next best although she looks a few levels beneath the top-tier runners in this one.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Let's make this a bit more interesting, and throw 3,5,9,1 into a boxed quinella.
3 02:54 DANS QUALITY PAINTING AND DECORATING HANDICAP 1300m
A solid tempo on the cards with Rogues Point taking charge. Competitive little affair this one, and looks to be a fair bit of speed engaged so expect an interesting tactical battle. RED REBEL (4) only just missed last time out and looks nicely placed to pounce for a deserved win third-up. ROEY CLAM (7) bested the top pick last start, leading the whole way, and is capable of fending them all off again when the whips are cracking. ROGUES POINT (2) resumes here and absolutely loves the racing at Broome. Brings something a bit different to most of these and is worth keeping safe. CRYSTAL VAIN (1) and STARRING KNIGHT (3) come through the same race as the top two and are next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Great little race here and we like Red Rebel to turn the tables on Roey Clam.
4 03:25 BROOME MARINE & TUG HANDICAP 1200m
Commissions and Universal Playboy possess good early speed. ON THE CHARGE (9) has produced two solid efforts since resuming, and looks poised to cash in today third-up. ALOTTA DANE (8) has been freshened up for this assignment and must be considered on his best form. UNIVERSAL PLAYBOY (2) raced in a Provincial Championship Heat down at Esperance last campaign, and resumes in something easier today. Throw him into the each-way mix. RODNEY OH RODNEY (5) is seven weeks between runs, and produced a couple of handy runs in April suggesting he might be a key player today. LADY CABERNET (6) comes up north for this and possesses a set of ratings which would give her genuine chances.  SUGGESTED PLAY: On The Charge is ready to win, and we're ready to back him.
5 04:07 ABLE ELECTRICAL HANDICAP 1000m
Hot pace certain with Gunnerside, City Of Sin and Kia Ora Koe keen to take up the running. Competitive little race this one. No reason to jump off KIA ORA KOE (4), who followed up a maiden win with another salute last start. Putting together a nice campaign. PLATO OR PLOMO (3) motored home resuming off a four-month break and should get another strong opportunity here in a race where there is plenty of pace engaged. ALBERT (5) resumes and has won before fresh. Warrants consideration from the inside draw. BIN SHALAA (1) has been very solid in two runs back from a break and should be somewhere in the mix again today. GUNNERSIDE (7) is likely to have admirers resuming and can't be dismissed.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Kia Ora Koe who can potentially go to another level still today.
6 04:42 CARPET PAINT & TILE CENTRE HANDICAP 1435m
Off the low draw Shoulder Patch is likely to find the lead at a slick tempo. Very competitive race to bring things to a close. Hard to split KINGS CALL (7), MAGNABURMA (6) DEAL OBTAINED (9) who are all putting together very nice campaigns. KINGS CALL (7) won by a big margin last time and only a brave punter would be jumping off now. MAGNABURMA (6) led all the way last time for an impressive win, and if anything could've finished even further in front. He was, however, beaten by DEAL OBTAINED (9) two runs back, and that galloper must be respected here. MASATORA (1) makes some appeal as a newcomer to this state and deserves respect. SHOULDER PATCH (5) has been very good in two runs back from a spell and should be strong again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: It's very hard to settle on a winner here, so let's throw 7,6,9 into a boxed quinella.
