NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:00 CHANDON HANDICAP 1400m
Solid tempo likely with Crocodile, Namaste and Crusader Voyage prominent. CROCODILE (2) took control early from the wide gate at his second race start when a comprehensive winner over 1400m at Hawkesbury in the heavy (10) going. Clearly has further improvement to come and gets his chance despite drawing out. NAMASTE (3) back in class second up when failing to finish off after given every chance in the run. Extra trip helps and regular rider back aboard. The firmer surface can see him go close. CRUSADER VOYAGE (5) will take great benefit out of his tough debut third over 1250m at Canterbury. Maps well and will keep improving as he steps out in trip. REGULATED AFFAIR (1) another from the Waller stable looking for this distance. Kept up to the mark with a recent trial and will be strong late. GEMOLOGIST (7) will relish the 1400m and looks good value.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Crocodile to go close again.
2 11:35 TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP 1400m
Expecting Turned Down to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. SUPER NORWEST (6) fitter now and has the early speed to get across from the sticky draw. Will benefit again with Nock's claim after being left a sitting shot when second over 1200m at Randwick. Proven at the trip and the firmer surface helps. PLENITUDE (9) due for a change of luck and expected to race closer to the speed over the 1400m. Finished strongly after giving away too much start when third over 1200m at Randwick. Hyeronimus sticks and looks hard to hold out. MIDNIGHT LUNA (16) improving mare who keeps raising the bar. Third up for this and down sharply in weight when a gritty second over 1400m at Goulburn. Has the figures to win this on the limit. ANTILOCAPRA (15) holding form well and won't know herself with the big weight drop. Tough on pace win from the wide draw in easier class over 1400m at Gunnedah. Comes here in peak form and worth each way consideration. PHAROAHZANO (21) smart on his day and not to be overlooked if he gains a start. The chances don't end there.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Super Norwest in a tricky contest.
3 12:10 MIDWAY HANDICAP 1200m
Monte Kate, Let's Go Again and Silentsar will press forward and set up a solid tempo. MONTE KATE (1) nice win in this grade two back, before gripping on late from the wide draw when a fighting fifth over 1200m here in a BM78. Winning rider back aboard and only has to hold her form to win this. MISS SPACEGIRL (16) progressive filly who produced good closing splits when an unlucky second over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Maps to get the right run and looks great each way value. COSY CORNER (15) assess on her good third two back, after disappointing in the heavy (9) going when seventh in tougher company over 1400m at Randwick. Roper sticks from the low gate and will give a ton of cheek. OAKFIELD BADGER (7) has a good winning record and capable of better with Osmond's claim. One for the exotics. SILENTSAR (2) resumes with a good fresh record and will relish the claim with the one solid trial.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Monte Kate to appreciate the drop in grade.
4 12:45 RACING AND SPORTS HANDICAP 1400m
Expecting Tasoraay to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. HELL TO PAY (3) keeps improving this prep and will benefit with Roper's claim again after holding them off late when scoring over 1550m at Canterbury. Gets map favours and goes close in this tougher contest. TASORAAY (11) comes to town for the first time this campaign after resuming with a slick on pace victory over 1300m at Scone in good time. Bumped into some progressive types last time in and gets every chance in this stronger race. DAME COMMANDER (4) big jump in grade and trip when pulling up with thumps after finishing fourteenth over 2000m in the G2 The Roses at Doomben. Back in distance and expected to bounce back in this weaker contest. OUI OUI OUI (13) progressing well in her second prep with the two wins from three starts. Bounced off her unlucky Hawkesbury Guineas run with a sharp win over 1400m at Hawkesbury. Look for her launching late. Each way. KUNDABUNG (12) near his top and the firmer surface can see him improve quickly.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Hell To Pay to win again.
5 01:20 ASAHI SUPER DRY HANDICAP 1100m
Cracking tempo with Summer Flame and Overfull leading the way. CODETTA (2) undefeated second up and like the way she attacked the line when resuming with a narrow second over this track and trip. Gets a similar set up for this with McMurray's claim and ready to win. KING'S SECRET (9) progressive gelding from an in form stable. Will have little trouble carrying the extra weight after demolishing his rivals in the same class over this course and distance at latest. Andrew Adkins keeps the ride and sure to be thereabouts. WINNING PROPOSAL (3) frustrating filly who gets weight relief in this easier contest after producing two mixed runs this time in. Form has since been franked after struggling to finish off behind Storm The Ramparts over 1000m at Randwick. Leading apprentice booked and finally drawn a decent gate. SLINKY (8) progressive mare not to be underestimated first up with the two good trials. SUMMER FLAME (16) failed to handle the heavy track last start and can bounce back at the good each way price.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Codetta in a strong contest.
6 01:55 RANVET HANDICAP 1500m
Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Northern Eyes. LITTLE COINTREAU (6) ready to win fifth up and the improving surface gives him a great chance. Kept finding on the line when a narrow third over 1500m here on May 31. Key jockey change for this, and represents good each way value. MICKEY'S MEDAL (5) rewarded for his consistency when sprinting quickly to break through in weaker class over this track and distance. Similar set up again with Nock's claim and will be in this for a long way. PURE ALPHA (10) stalked the speed last time out when a narrow second here over this trip. Doesn't have to improve much to win this from the low gate. NORTHERN EYES (3) gets favoured conditions and will relish the weight drop with McMurray's claim. CHICA MOJITO (2) looks the best of the rest with an okay second up record.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Little Cointreau from the good barrier.
7 02:30 CAPTIVANT @ KIA ORA HANDICAP 1300m
Lots of speed predominantly from Elson Boy, Spanish Fox and Satness. SNACK BAR (11) racing in his third state in as many starts and has his hoof on the till. No match for Big Swinger last time out when a game fourth over 1200m at Caulfield. Capable on his day and assess on his good third in the Ming Dynasty last September. STARMAN (12) underrated gelding who resumes in a winnable race with his good fresh record. Has the two trials under the belt and can win this at the big odds. SPANISH FOX (3) saves his best for this trip and ready to peak with McMurray's 3kg claim. Closed strongly from the wide gate when third over 1100m at Scone. Will roll forward from the draw and give plenty of cheek. UNSTOPABULL (7) fitter now and like the way he's closed off at his two runs back. Extra trip will see him be around the money. CRAFTY EAGLE (8) capable on her day and undefeated at this trip. Winkers come off and gets her chance from the low draw  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 11,12,3,7.
8 03:05 CINCOTTA CHEMIST WINTER CUP 2400m
Plenty of pace established by Bear On The Loose, Sir Chartwell and Changingoftheguard, with Don Diego De Vega close at hand. BEAR ON THE LOOSE (5) gets every chance to run the 2400m out in this average contest. Surged forward with the 58.5kg when a fighting on pace second over 2000m at Randwick. Adept in all conditions and has a massive fitness edge over these. Can stack them up and prove hard to run down. DON DIEGO DE VEGA (6) returned for his third Australian campaign when catching the eye late to run fourth in the LR Lord Mayor's Cup over 2000m at this track. Comes to hand quickly and expect to see him in the stalking position here. On the limit and he won't get a better chance to run the 2400m out. Respect. TOURISTIC (3) deep into his prep when sprinting quickly down the outside to put them away in a couple of bounds when winning the LR Lord Mayor's Cup over 2000m here. Placed at the trip and gets his chance again. SHAHZAD (10) three weeks between runs when fading to run ninth over 2000m in the LR Lord Mayor's Cup. Fitter now and can lift. DOUBLE CHERRY (12) strips fitter and has claims.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,6,3,10.
9 03:45 TAB HANDICAP 2000m
Cormac T is likely to take charge and set a decent tempo. CORMAC T (8) stretches out to his preferred trip fourth up and ticks plenty of boxes for this. Never really happy in the heavy going when a plugging third over 1800m here. Braith Nock sticks from the low draw and can utilise his high cruising speed. Goes close. FREIGHT TRAIN (12) deep into the prep and showed enough on the line when eighth over 1800m at this track. Fitter now and will be strong late. HALF YOURS (6) chasing a hat-trick now but must carry an extra 3.5kg for this. Took control of the race in the straight when surging clear for a slick win over most of these in good style last time out. Trip won't pose a problem and stays in the mix. ASSAILANT (11) battled on bravely at his first Australian start when third over 1550m at Canterbury in easier class. Genuine staying type who can come on strongly for this. RISE TO IT (9) building slowly for this trip fourth up and down sharply in weight with Roper's claim. Assess on his good win at Moonee Valley over this trip last November.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Cormac T finds his race.
10 04:25 TOYOTA FORKLIFTS HANDICAP 1300m
Aberlour should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest. DRIFT NET (7) came out fast from the low draw and faded quickly in the conditions when sixth over 1400m at Randwick in similar class. Will hold a forward position again with the claim and take catching on the improving surface. HELLBENT ON YOU (6) getting better with age and another who can turn it around after running fourth over 1400m at Randwick in the heavy going. Braith Nock has a good association with her, and will be getting home late. WEEPING WOMAN (8) resumed with a gritty on pace third over 1200m here. Has excellent second up stats and can spear across from the draw. Keep safe. MISS JENNIFER (13) back marker fitter now fourth up and drops further in weight. Look for her getting out late from the low draw. PAJANTI (9) had excuses in the heavy going last start and maps well for this.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 7,6,8,13.
