Expecting plenty of speed from Escape Beach, Invisible Target and Picasso's Dream from Express Star. VACILLATION (1) has been racing okay without threatening in better races of late. Closed in decent fashion last start to finish fourth in a Class 3 over 1600m at Eagle Farm. Placed at both runs here over today's trip. Ideally placed to return to the winner's enclosure. SUPAIRO (5) returned to form last start over this distance at the Sunshine Coast, closing strongly but finding one better. Seemed to enjoy the seven-day back-up that day and gets another shortish turnaround this time. Poses a genuine threat. HIDDEN FUTURE (9) started favourite and made some late inroads but was no match for the winner over 1350m at Ipswich recently. Likely to get back from a wide gate but is one to watch for in the dying stages. ESCAPE BEACH (12) placed two back over this trip at Ballina then didn't quite get the 1690m at Ipswich last start. Nicely placed to play a key role. PICASSO'S DREAM (3) hasn't saluted for a couple of years but her recent efforts in much better races have been commendable. SUGGESTED PLAY: This looks a nice race for Vacillation.
