GOING: G(4)

SWAN DRAUGHT HANDICAP 1100m

Track: SOFT 5   Clear (Max: 15)   Rail: True.

Solid tempo anticipated with Sunlit Fresco heading them off. CINQUE STELLE (8) trialled strongly coming into the campaign but had an issue first-up where she finished tailed off. Back to the trials since where she was good and Pike remains in the saddle. Was an odds-on chance fresh and she can get the train back on the tracks now. SWANSEE (6) is aiming for the hat-trick here, scoring by 1.5L at Pinjarra last time out. She's trending the right way now and a better barrier this time around should make things a little easier for her in the early stages. There's plenty to like about her and she can win again. ETERNAL WINE (2) comes back in grade today where she dipped a little last start at Belmont. Out to 1100m now won't be an issue and Chris Parnham hopping on board is a big tick. Can get back to winning ways. KING BREW (1) can improve again third-up into the campaign. RECONNAISSANCE (4) can fire a shot on resumption. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cinque Stelle can bounce back to winning ways.
