DG FARRIERS HANDICAP 1200m Track: HEAVY 10 True |

Solid tempo anticipated with Littleredcorvette heading them off. MISS ANNA LEE (4) is a very progressive and lightly tried mare who will be resuming from a spell. She had won a trial prior to being a late scratching at Hawera due to a stabling miscommunication, and from a handy gate here, she will be hard to hold out. BRADY (1) made a long sustained run from well back when finishing a game second fresh up at Hawera 2 weeks ago. He has not had much racing for a 5YO gelding, and he can make up for lost time this winter. Stick with him. OUR AKASHINGA (2) has been runner-up in each of her runs back from a spell, and also won a trial in between those efforts. Lisa Allpress picking up the ride is a plus. Each way. PERFECT PETE (5) whacked away solidly for seventh at Woodville last start when backing up within a week of his last run. He is nearly 6 weeks between starts this time, and dropping back to 1200m will do him no harm. Each way value for us. LUMINANCE (8) was stakes placed here this time last year, and is worth including in all top 4 combos here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Perfect Pete each way.
