Good tempo expected with Something Shiny, Tassorati and Brass Band rolling forward. TASSORATI (11) returned a good figure two back when she led and held on gamely for third over this distance at Eagle Farm. Not as impressive last start when back to 1400m. Beautifully weighted after the claim and back to the mile she looks the goods. STEADY ON (5) is a 10-start maiden who showed pace and didn't give up easily when fourth last time out over 1700m at Grafton. Should give backers a sight coming back a little in trip with the blinkers re-applied. CIRQUE DE LA VIE (9) turned in an eye-catcher first-up over 1400m at the Sunshine Coast, coming from near the tail to be beaten a neck. Enjoys the gun run out of gate one and the extra trip looks perfect at this stage of the prep. BRASS BAND (1) just missed in a three-way go over this course and distance recently, the third minor placing in succession. Racing well enough to give this a shake. Bit of a gap to the next best SOMETHING SHINY (2) who might improve with the winkers removed. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tassorati is nicely placed to break through.
