Several of these have good gate speed so a strong tempo is expected. FARRAVALLO (2) maintained his good fresh record when winning at Trentham just over 3 weeks ago. He has winning form on this track, and dropping back to 1100m is of no concern to him. On top again. CAITLYNS WISH (3) finished fourth last start in a race where the winner has since gone on to win the Opunake Cup. This mare really needs it heavy to show her best, and if she can find the top early on here, she could take plenty of pegging back. COCOBILL (5) resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He won a recent trial, and will be ready to rumble fresh. TOLSTOY (4) chased home the top pick as the favourite in the same race last time out, and he is peaking at the right time here. Stick with him, and follow your money. FREDDIE TIME (1) has to be some chance in a small field, even though the trip is well short of his best, and TESTING (6) strips fitter second up, and also has top 4 claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cocobill each way.
