Cracking tempo with Sleepy Joe and Qickwit leading the way. MANDRIANA (8) is a promising filly who led all the way to collect her maiden victory last start over this distance at Toowoomba when lining up for only the second time. Nicely drawn and has plenty more to offer so stick with her. AUTUMNGIRL (7) has found the line full of purpose to just miss the placings in her three runs this preparation, all at or around 1000m. Cherry ripe now and her best runs to date have come at this trip. Ready to find peak form. SPEEDY ONE (1) scored over today's journey two back at Beaudesert under the steadier of 62kgs. Struggled in town last time but back in this grade from a good gate he makes plenty of appeal. XERRI (2) has been a touch underwhelming this prep. Drops in grade today so a better run will not surprise. OVER DRAFT (4) just missed at Rockhampton last start and should measure up in this company. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Mandriana.
