Strong pace with The Scholar, Vergrey and On Cue pushing across. BUDERIM (5) can get back to winning ways third-up into the campaign and getting out to 1400m. He can sit a little closer this time around with Fiore remaining in the irons. On the quick turnaround and rates highly on his recent form. Can atone for a disappointing effort last time out. MISS DEFIES ME (7) is third-up now and Chris Parnham hops on board. Will need a touch of luck from the barrier draw, but getting out to 1400m is a bonus. She's trending the right way however and she can make an impression. DOMINANT FORCE (12) is better than she showed last time out, just missing two back at Pinjarra. That form stacks up here and if she can bounce back to form, she'll be right in the thick of the action. MAVIS MYRTLE (14) won't be far away with a good draw on offer and Nottle taking over. LUCKY MOON (1) picked up a surprise win last start and finds another suitable race on the back of that effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Buderim goes on top in the last.
