Expecting Yukimatsuri to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. YUKIMATSURI (5) is in winning form after scoring as favourite last time out by 4 lengths over 1400m at this track. Is unbeaten in two starts at this course and distance. Yujiro Tanabata who has scored on him three times retains the mount. Sure to play a big role. EDONO SMILE (8) made progress last time out, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1500m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running a bold race. NISHINO SUISEI (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when 11th, beaten 10 lengths, over 1400m at Kawasaki. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. NOBUO TOKEN (3) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 1500m at this track. Good enough on his day and can run a bold race.
