No noted leader but Marama and Miss Neyland will be prominent. FOIX (2) should be winning this. He's only had three runs to date, improving nicely last time out at this track and trip when beaten half a length into second. This race lacks any depth and he's the one with upside. Go close. SHADEELAA (14) wasn't beaten far at Geelong last time out having contested a handy race at Flemington prior. Some query at this trip but he can certainly challenge. MARAMA (9) is lightly raced with four starts to her name, doing well to place here last time out behind Foix. Has a few lengths to make but is in the mix. PENDING LIST (5) could be an improver from a soft draw. LARABELLE (8) may be next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Foix to win.
