No place for the faint-hearted with Koichi and Carle Pomelo getting along early. KOICHI (5) flew the gates and led throughout to score by a neck last start over today's journey at Kasamatsu. Will prove very tough to beat. CARLE POMELO (11) improved last time out to score by 1.5 lengths as favourite over 1500m at this track. Going up a level this time but she is up to the challenge. HAPPY MEEK (9) finished seventh over 1700m at this track last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Makoto Okabe who has scored on her eight times retains the mount. One of the main contenders. FORZA F (6) finished back in sixth over 920m at this track last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset and is not to be discounted.
