Solid tempo with Press Yes going forward from the good draw. HOT BANDIT (1) drove hard to get the verdict at Scone two back and then narrowly missed doubling it up last start at Canberra. Peaking now and is expected to be right in the finish again. Weight is the only concern. SKATES ON (6) worked home nicely into the frame over this track and trip at the latest. Strips fitter third-up and is drawn to take closer order. Expected to make his presence felt. MR VILLA (2) got off the mark in great style when resuming at Taree. Tougher this time but he deserves plenty of respect from the inside alley. Last start maiden winner PRESS YES (4) also warrants respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hot Bandit gets the nod.
