Pace strong from La Petite Angele going forward with Guerrera kicking up to hold the fence. KING WEST (8) is a nicely bred 3yo who has raced twice to date, solid on debut at Moe before a narrow maiden win here last time out over 1200m. Takes on a few handy types but can measure up. BIFROST (1) was just fair last start at Caulfield but that was in a good race and the win prior at Geelong was solid. Suited here and can bounce back. LA PETITE ANGELE (4) was okay fresh off a long spell at Seymour, beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth. Fitter for that and can improve. FLYING CONCELLO (3) won two back at Ballarat Synthetic and was solid last time. In the mix. GUERRERA (6) could be an improve third up. SUGGESTED PLAY: King West to win.
