Reasonable tempo with Isla Del Norte probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. ISLA DEL NORTE (1) is back after a break of five months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1400m at this track. Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at this track over 1400m. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. AIR SHALLOW (5) is mixing his form, the latest effort a tenth over 1400m at this track. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be tough to stop. CORODIA (3) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when ninth over 1400m at this track, beaten 12 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. JUNGLE TACHYON (10) resumes in a similar race to his last run four months ago when fifth, beaten 6 lengths. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
