He finished third in his only attempt on this course. He jumps from a good draw of two and in this field he can go one better. HAT TRICK OR TREAT (4) raced from a handy position over 1400m last time but found one too good on the day. He is a progressive type and has each-way claims. GOLD DE GRACE (5) ran a fair race over 1800m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. Raymond Danielson is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. PIKE PLACE (6) has been disappointing in his last three starts. On best form shown he can finish in the money.
