La Familia has enough early speed to find the lead at a decent clip. HORTUS PALATIUM (2) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 1800m at Kyoto 12 weeks ago and has not been produced since. Promising type who can go back-to-back. IN THE MOMENT (6) finished fourth last time out over 1800m at Kyoto, beaten half a length. Last two have been in much stronger company and looks ready to win over the longer journey. Credentials hard to fault. MONT BLANC MINORU (3) ran well despite being friendless in betting when resuming last time over 2400m at this track, finishing third and beaten 0.6 lengths at $20.40. Top-three aspirations. LA FAMILIA (1) went forward and proved too strong on debut last start, scoring with half a length to spare over 2400m at this track. Not to be discounted.
