ACUTUS (1) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by one length over 1600m at Chukyo. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. MEINER MEMORY (3) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for seventh over 2000m at Hanshin. Worth including. Grade 3 placegetter DOTTO KURU (10) finished fifth over 1800m at Hanshin at his most recent appearance on December 2. Worth plenty of thought.
