PACIFIC SCOUT (2) finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the turn over 1200m on turf, an improvement on his sixth the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run this time. WINS EIGHT (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when tenth over 1100m at this track six days ago after being in the firing line on the corner. On a quick back-up and meets a weak field today so he can improve. SACRED GOLD (3) failed to figure again last time over 1200m on turf, beaten 6 lengths into tenth. Among the main hopes on his best form. SILVER WARRIOR (7) finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in sixth at his most recent appearance over 1400m on turf. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
