RAON THE CLIPPER (2) finished second as favourite last time out over 1300m at this track, making it three minor placings from three starts this time in work. Should enjoy a nice run so he is well placed to break through. GEUMAK DIA (9) showed good speed last time out and fought on well when third over 1200m at this track. Has the gate speed to negate a tricky draw. Expected to be in the finish. MR. TROT (1) turned in a modest performance when ninth last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 14 lengths. That followed a good win on debut at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MORNING BOLD (6) is a nine-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at this track over 1300m, beaten 4 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
