Reasonable tempo with Akiba probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. T M HISHO (2) has been a regular in the winners' stall of late including last start in dominant fashion over 1400m at this track. Winning rider Shoma Kanayama retains the mount. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. AKIBA (6) returned from a spell three weeks ago when she was in the firing line on the turn before being beaten 8 lengths into fourth over 1400m at this track. Stepping up a level this time but with added fitness she is good enough to take this out. HOKKO AKATSUKI (10) was disappointing over 1400m at this track last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run prior. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. ONNE MATKA (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects.
