Gun Wolf should lead and dictate terms. AKOKURO (3) is back at the races for the first time since February 18. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 2100m at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. ATRACTIVO (7) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in the firing line on the corner over 2400m at Nakayama Dirt, an improvement on his first-up sixth at Nakayama Dirt the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. TOSEN CHRIST (8) gave away a considerable start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt last time before hitting the line well to finish sixth. Was outdashed but got going late and the extra ground looks a big plus. Can run on into the finish here. NEKKETSU SHACHO (4) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 4 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
