She returns from a spell during which time she would have strengthened up. She shows good speed in her races and if fit, she should be the one to beat. BOSUM BUDDY (1) got up right up on the line when winning her last start over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She is a progressive type and is one of the leading contenders. PINATUBO (3) is better than her last start against older rivals would suggest. She won a good race on debut over 1000m on the Inside course. She has scope and cannot be ignored. WE WILL ROCK YOU (6) brings the right form to this race after taking out a 1200m race at Scottsville last time. Rates well as one of the better chances.
