Solid tempo set by Jeanne Rosa and Marine Bunker who are both capable of leading. DANON KILAUEA (1) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 1800m at Nakayama. Top chance in a nice race for him. JEANNE ROSA (9) impressed when successful on debut over 1600m at Kyoto three-and-a-half months ago and has not appeared since. Promising type who can go back-to-back. LIMERICK (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1600m at Chukyo, beaten 3 lengths into sixth. Has the talent to find the winners' list. JUN TONE FU (3) was beaten 4.5 lengths into ninth at the second run back from a break over 1200m at Hanshin last time out. Better than recent efforts suggest.
