A keen early contest likely with Peregrine and Bright Lupinus pushing for the lead with Happy Dance and Excellen Arthur on their backs. BRIGHT LUPINUS (13) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when in the firing line on the turn, finishing 0.8 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PEREGRINE (7) defied her big price last time when beaten just half a length into second over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Bold showing expected again. HAPPY DANCE (9) is a maiden with three minor placings to her name. Could not improve on that record when resuming last start, winding up in fifth over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Was in the placings at her only other second-up run. Solid top-three prospects. MEISHO YOSHINO (1) was at long odds on debut last time out and finished sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1150m at Fukushima Dirt. Can figure in the finish.
