Spade Un has good gate speed and can overcome the wide alley to lead. MEINER FRANTZ (6) was in the firing line on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 2200m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. The engagement of Yuji Tannai is noteworthy. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CHAMPAGNE MARK (1) was well held in the Keio Hai Nisai Stakes won by Strauss over 1800m at Tokyo at his last appearance four-and-a-half months ago. Can feature in this easier company. DEE MY THE KID (7) is a talented colt who was well held last time in tougher grade over 1800m at Tokyo. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and two minor placings from four starts. Strong claims on best figures. COME FLY (9) has not appeared since he scored over 2200m at this track on January 21. Can give this a shake.
