A strong tempo assured with Early Crow leading the charge. AVENUE OF STARS (5) resumed with a short-half-head defeat here this grade and hasn't missed a beat. He has more up the sleeve and the longer sprint suits. Goes second-up and a soft run is likely from an inside gate. NIC ME SOME (6) is going better than the form-line suggests. The Ipswich placing two-back stacks right up and Fradd's booking is a plus. GAMBU (9) resumes for the Waller barn and will go close if presented on-song. Has had two trial warmers and is a betting watch. EARLY CROW (3) is also in good hands and showed more like his best at Lismore. Fitter and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Avenue Of Stars.
